More Fun with Nevada Defendants--Fleiss and naked bus hijacker

Former Hollywood madame and current Pahrump laundromat owner/Nye County Superstar Heidi Fleiss has been charged with possession of the painkiller hydrocodone without a prescription and use of methamphetamine. (Review-Journal)

And if you missed it earlier this week, in what may be the high water mark for crime with a Vegas-flair, a naked man hijacked a bus. The Review-Journal reports:

Las Vegas police said the man, 35-year-old Charles P. Sell, was first seen stealing a beer at the 7-Eleven on the corner of Lamb Boulevard and Washington Avenue about 8 a.m.

An officer arrived at the scene and the man fled, a police spokesman said. Sell then climbed onto the back of a moving CAT bus traveling east on Washington, broke one of the back windows with his fists, and climbed in.

He threw the driver off the bus and drove it about 200 yards before jumping off . . .

The report misses the most important point: was he naked during the entire crime spree? Did he walk into a store naked and steal a beer before hijacking the bus?

And if you've been wanting more coverage of Dr. "Needles" Desai, there's a nice bio piece on how he rose up and [allegedly] blackmailed and browbeat his way to the top in Vegas. (Review-Journal)
