Charges Against Judge Miley Dropped (Likely Because She's Hot)

The Las Vegas city attorney has declined to prosecute a misdemeanor battery complaint against Judge Stefany Miley. The complaint arose out of a soccer mom fight Miley was involved in on May 19 at a soccer field in Summerlin.

The LVRJ got a look at the complaint filed by Rhonda Gold-Charbonneau:
According to the police report, Gold-Charbonneau said that Miley approached her and accused her of touching her children and talking about their family.

An argument ensued between the two women. At one point, a soccer coach unsuccessfully tried to get them to stop arguing, the incident report said.

Gold-Charbonneau alleged Miley then said, "If you ever touch my boys again," but didn't finish her sentence, according to the report.Gold-Charbonneau then contended that Miley, with a clenched fist, bumped her body into Gold-Charbonneau's, the report said.

Gold-Charbonneau asked Miley whether she wanted to fight, according to the report. "Suspect yelled 'Shut up' and she (victim) replied 'You shut up.'" The incident ended with Miley walking away, according to the report.
Sounds pretty tame to us, too tame. We were hoping for a little hair-pulling at a minimum. Needless to say, it looks like Miley lost at least one vote. Of course, she'll probably pick up a few male votes, so it's a wash.

  1. Stephanie Miley - you are lucky. I just read the city attorney decided not to press charges so you are out of the woods this time. (Like we didn't know this was going to happen.) I have to say: Nice Supterfuge though. Stating you were protecting your child... ha. I know of this incident (this is such a small town) - wasn't this all about YOU being embarrassed when your team found out you were talking badly about a child on the team? Wasn't this a DISABLED boy you thought shouldn't be playing soccer and you wanted to get him off the team because he was ruining it and losing games for them? I understand his mom overheard you talking loudly about how bad he was and he shouldn't be on the team and she was just devastated when she heard this. So you took it out on someone else because you were pissed off you got caught.Bad Bad Stephanie.

  2. She lost more than one vote. She didn't really have many to begin with. She is a judge for #%$^# sake, she thought she was above the law and could do anything.

  7. I wouldn't want a cripple on my kids competitive team.

  8. I think Judge Miley is looking for a new team... no cripples allowed! You would fit right in.

I think we all know he meant Subterfuge.

    Definition of Subterfuge: something intended to misrepresent the true nature of an activity;

  9. She was sort of hot 10 or 12 years ago. Now she's all gangly and lumpy. And that beak? Please. She should have gotten a nose job at the same time she got the tummy tuck and the boob lift. And what's with the blonde hair and black eyebrows?

  10. I love how because this happens to be a female judge, her appearance gets all the attention while nobody ever comments on the physical appearance of male judges. Typical.

It's because that's all there is to the story. "Shut up!" "No, you shut up!"

I've seen better insults and more vicious fighting from fifth graders. The ONLY newsworthy part is that Miley is a judge. Anyone else, and it wouldn't have even made the soccer team's newsletter.

    Like, no sheet shirtlocked.

  15. No, Abbi Silver is definitely not hot. How about a blog about hot attorneys? I vote for me!

  16. To UNLV 3L - you know it made the news because it was disgusting behavior for a Judge. And as usual the Review Journal didn't get the whole story. I can't imagine the metro police dept even doing any work on this if something bigger didn't happen. It wouldn't even have gone to the DA if nothing happened. The true story is being covered up. It got to the papers and the DA for a reason.

  17. I'd bet anything that @4:07 PM is a really ugly woman.

  18. On a scale of one to ten, Abbi gets two points added for being Jewish and another point added for being a judge, enough to catapult her over a number of better-looking but less accomplished gentiles.

  19. Gee, things never seem to change in Vegas. .....

Years ago I was in the employ of an AV-rated Las Vegas med-mal law firm. One afternoon, after a staffer birthday party in the conference room, two of the partners and the office manager started throwing pies at one another. All of the staff made an excuse to leave the room.

When a third partner returned from court, the partners and office manager jumped him and sprayed him with cans of whipping cream.

The outcome? Several secretaries were instructed to clean up the mess as there was to be a settlement conference in that room the following morning.

..... When I tell colleagues (in other jurisdictions) this story, their eyes widen and then they laugh, thinking it is some kind of a joke. I tell them, "no, I'm not so creative that I could make this sort of thing up"!

  20. Yawn. If you weren't there, you don't really know what happened. All I can say is that if someone touched my kids, I'd kick their butt into next Tuesday.

  23. To Sept 7th - 7:06pm

I know the coach and found out what happened. No one touched her kids. They asked one of her sons if he could move over and he freaked out at a parent for tapping him on the shoulder. This was over A YEAR AGO! Judge Miley was pissed in May because she was caught talking about another player she wanted off the team and thought this mom told someone she heard it. Apparently, the MOM of the boy she talked about heard it directly from Stepahnie's mouth. She was embarrassed and went after this mom . She is wacked. They kicked Miley off their team.
She wouldn't have been KICKED off the team if she didn't do something wacked. The other parent... still on team.

  24. Oh yea, the coach also told me they told her 3 times it wasn't this parent. They said Miley wouldn't listen... oh gosh just like in court.
Jumps to conclusions and doesn't listen... we got a great judge on our hands!

  25. Stephanie Miley, doesn't have the MATURITY to be a District Court Judge. Whether or not, the District Attorney dropped charges against her. She has a long list, of temper tantrums that have been between her and numerous other entities.

I would think that having maturity would be considered part of her job description. I have personally experienced her pissy attitude. Since my experience, I have heard other peoples opinions, which are not complimentary of Stephanie Miley.

  26. Prom Queen? sure, why not?

    Judge? Are you kidding me?

Will someone please confirm how many times she took the bar before she actually passed?

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ 8:55

Good point. I think it's fair to ask how many times it took a judge to pass the bar, not that I think that all attorneys who pass the bar are qualified and the ones who fail aren't. But if it's like 3 or 4 times, there is clearly either a comprehension or writing problem. A deficiency in either makes for a poor judge.
