  3. I'm not a fan of the DAs, but I have heard quite a few PDs and DAs who have nothing but kind words of mr Foley. RIP. My thoughts are with your family and loved ones

  4. Foley was the angriest, crustiest, nastiest bastard I ever ran into; I'll miss him. I once heard that the reason he never retired is because he hated old people, if that's true it is one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life.

  5. @6:12 Thank you for saying what I could not figure out how to say in a manner worthy for this blog. No other attorney has ever been allowed to use the namecalling that George used in Court and get away with it, with the Judge just chuckling "Oh thats just Mr. Foley".

Endearing? Not in the slightest. Nostalgic? For those who mistakenly believed that the good ol' days were really good or anything more than ol'. Crustier than an infected ear. Nonetheless safe travels Mr. Foley.

  6. Despite the surfeit of newly minted attorneys, Vegas seems a little smaller and a little less like itself each time a long term practitioner passes away.

May the fight continue wherever you find yourself, Mr. Foley.

  7. The only crustier is Pete Flangas who still carries the torch. But for those who either are not easily offended or are not just looking to be offended, dealing with Pete and George is and was, respectively, quite enjoyable! Goodbye Mr. Foley! Bring it in the Great Beyond!
