Friday Poll: Theme Song for Legal Practice in Vegas

We're trying out a few new things here on WWL. One of them is posting polls on issues from time to time. So here is a light-hearted one to start:

What would be the theme song for legal practice in Vegas?

Post your nominations in the comments section and we'll put up a poll next week.

Early suggestions from the WWL staff:
"Breaking the Law" by Judas Priest
"Against the Law" by Woody Guthrie
"California Sex Lawyer" by Fountains of Wayne
"The Trial" by Pink Floyd
"Love Me Good Like a Lawyer" by T. Bone Pickens

  1. First! Recommendation for a another poll: what are the top 5 firms people would prefer to work at (i.e. best places to work in the valley)?

Didn't want this to get lost in a prior post.

  4. In light of the recent slew of layoffs, mergers, and firms generally crapping on associates, I nominate "Jump!" by Van Halen.

  5. Can't you put an actual poll for us to click our response?

Maybe we could nominate Renegade by Styx for the theme song for the Medical Mafia Attorneys?

Oh mama, I'm in fear for my life from the long arm of the law
Lawman has put an end to my running and I'm so far from my home
Oh mama, I can hear your crying you're so scared and all alone
Hangman is coming down from the gallows and I don't have very long

The jig is up the news is out they've finally found me
The renegade who had it made retrieved for a bounty
    Never more to go astray
This will be the end today of the wanted man

  8. As recently as a couple of years ago, I would have nominated Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing." But that doesn't seem to apply much any more.

  9. For Harry (Reid)

    Way out in Reno, Nevada,
    Where romance blooms and fades,
    A great Philadelphia lawyer
Was in love with a Hollywood maid.

    --Philadelphia Lawyer by Woody Guthrie
