Vegas law = Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

The votes are in for Poll#1: What should be the Theme Song for Legal Practice in Vegas?

And the winner is . . . "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC with 38% of the vote [results at the bottom of this page].

We have to admit there's a certain poetry to Sin City law's theme song focusing on murder for hire.

And the song even has a stanza for the family law practitioner:
You got a lady and you want her gone/huh, huh, huh, huh
But you ain't got the guts/huh, huh, huh
She keeps naggin' at you night 'n' day/huh, huh, huh, huh
Enough to drive you nuts/huh, huh, huh, huh
Pick up the phone, leave her alone/huh, huh, huh, huh
It's time you made a stand/huh, huh, huh, huh
For a fee, I'm happy to be
Your back door man, hey
For those of you unfamiliar with the song, we've included a video:

  1. The poll above would be a lot more beneficial if people took it half way seriously. There is NO WAY Clark County District Court is the best job in Nevada - it is a means to an end. If your firm isn't represented on the poll, vote for the firm you'd most like to work for, and if your firm is represented be sure to at least cast the two extra votes for the other firms you'd want to work for.

No offense, but I've never heard of Bowler Dixon & Twitchell LLP and I've been here a while. If people really think it's one of the best places to work in the valley, then that's great, just seems like people are trying to skew the results for some reason.

Finally, I realize that these firms were mainly chosen from the "nominations" but how were Gordon and Silver, Morris (Pickering) Peterson, Hutchison & Steffen, Kamer Zucker, Greenberg, Kolesar, and any PI firms (Mainor Eglet, Vannah, The Heavy Hitter) left off? The list should at least include the NALP advertised firms.

  2. Not to worry @5:39 p.m. We put the firm poll up over the weekend for Beta testing.

We are very aware that attorneys are reactive, rather than proactive personalities who don't participate initially. So thank you for stepping up. We were waiting for an attorney to criticize with recommendations. WWL appreciates constructive criticism and operates under the motto: "criticize and you shall receive (sometimes".

Hence, a new poll will be up by Monday and have the firms you suggested
