Walton may have more than a missing $4 million to worry about ...

According to the RJ, Stan Walton also failed to file a formal answer to a Nevada State Bar complaint alleging he "misappropriated" $20,000 given to him by a client in an unrelated case.

Oh, and he may have been appointed as special prosecutor in a domestic violence case in which said client was the victim.

Oh, and he may have been "intimate" with said client.

Oh, and the complaint involves Walton recommending "gold Mexican bearer bonds" as an investment to said client.

See where this is going?

(LVRJ; Thanks, Tipster!)

  2. individiual/small/solo firm average is $250 to $500

larger firms donate between $500 to, on average $1,250

big donors are between $2,500 to $5,000

check out current judge's financial filings to see who falls into these categories

  3. Yeah baby...this is another bottom feeder defense attorney who TRIES to rack up bar violations.....it's friday. Get your shot glasses out and pound one for each of these YOU have done:
    1)SLEEP WITH CLIENT
2)ENTICE TO INVEST IN FRAUDULANT SECURITIES
3)PUT 20K CLIENT FUNDS IN YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT
4)SPEND CLIENT FUNDS ON CARS AND BILLS OF YOUR OWN
    5)FAIL TO RETURN CLIENT CALLS

I know you all got at least one shot for failure to return calls.....how many of you are now DRUNK??

  4. Mainor Eglet gave $70,000 to judicial candidates in 2008. Of that, $40,000 went to one judge: Jessie Walsh.
Walsh presided at the $500 million verdict hepatitis trial in April.
But looks can be deceiving. The defense preempted Cory and Walsh then got the case.
    Seems odd, doesn't it?

  5. I do not hate to day I told you so but in the earlier blog I said he had more worries than just 4 days in jail..now it appears he owes millions, there goes the bar license, all non-exempt property and possibly criminal charges and prison. Nice guy, year right.
Now I will pound down shots for those things referenced above. .. uh oh, I guess this will be a dry day for me.

  6. Another black eye for attorneys. Have not heard that the State Bar will seek a temporary suspension, but it should ASAP, if Bare is not too busy campaigning.

  7. I have to say that I am shocked by all of this. You non criminal douche bags can act like you're hot shit while billing .2 to some poor schlep for reading this blog, but Stan was and is a class act. Goes to show anybody can be tempted.

  9. "Defense Bottom Feeder"? Big name Plaintiff PI attys are feeders as well. Spoke to friend who does insurance defense atty. He has a case against well known PI hack who put his client on medical lien totaling $700K. Client was injured going to work and could have all meds paid through WC, but that would have decreased "value" of case/atty fees. Disgusting.

  10. Sounds like James Guesman and this guy, practice law the same way....take money from your clients, don't do the work which you "verbally" agree to do, and then, YOU DON'T ANSWER YOUR "cell" phone to speak with your client, who has NUMEROUS QUESTIONS for you to answer. What a scam!

TEMPTED? PUT.THE.CRACK.PIPE DOWN. and, don't assume I am a civil attorney. I have seen Stan in court and he is rarely more than a guy showing up with a file in his hand relying on the DA or the court to know everything about what has or has not happened since the last hearing, has not spoken with his clients and needs a new status check to take care of what should have been taken care of then.

  14. OK $22.4 Million Judgment.... Now I think perhaps we are getting a picture of why there might have been some issues with showing up for the Judgment Debtor Examinations.

  18. Ironic how some bottom feeders on this blog are so quick to indict judges, lawyers and firms on this blog simply because they have professional jealousy issues, but yet when Walton was thrown in jail for contempt, a whole horde of bottom feeders came to his defense.

Now, when the facts about Walton start to come to light, a deafening silence has fallen over the bottom feeders -- that is until y'all find someone to criticize who is more successful than you (which is likely 99.45% of the Bar).
