If you haven't heard by now, Senator John Ensign is having some marital issues, and who better to jump to his aid than someone who has been there before? It seems that Governor Jim Gibbons now has some odd infidelity-bond with Senator Ensign, and he wants to let Ensign know that he's there for him. Here's Gibbons' quote from the RGJ:
"John handled this the way he thought was best and I think their family has a lot of work to do to get through this, I just want to tell them that they have my support. Whatever I can do to help them is fine.”Awww, how sweet! Isn't it great to see fellow marital bond-breakers getting together to fight a common enemy?
Oh, and in case you were wondering, that website Gibbons' accuser Chrissy Mazzeo put up is still there ... and still fabulous! If you haven't already, you must check out the updated "Plaintiff's Exhibit Gallery," complete with a Family Circus style map detailing the night's events.
