Turns out our prior analysis of who will replace Judge Sandoval was flawed. Judge Jones will be moving from Vegas to

@ 3:13 None of your choices are good. Just stating women attorneys (bad ones at that) does not put them on a short list. Try again.
ReplyDeleteI think Leen would be a good choice over any of the others listed so far.
ReplyDeleteAgree that Leen is the best choice, but I would love to see Franny elevated to the Federal bench. We all know she handled herself well when she argued before the US Supreme Court.
ReplyDelete@4:58 Rene Valladares is a man and a great attorney. Shari is an excellent trial attorney. Can't speak for the rest b/c I don't know them, but I'm willing to bet Cadish was not so bad when she was an attorney.
ReplyDeleteI think Barbara Buckley will get some consideration.
ReplyDeleteHey 3:13. It is glaringly obvious you do not know these attorneys. May I suggest you only comment on things or people you actually have some knowledge of.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant hey 4:48, not 3:13.

ReplyDeletePolitics says the recommendation to the President will be Barbara Buckley. Nothing like appointing a fellow politician to a life time gig to get her outta the way!
ReplyDeleteJudge Linda B. Riegle! I hate to see her leave the Bankruptcy Bench, but if she's got another 10 years to devote to "The cause", she belongs on the district court bench or even the 9th Circ.
