  1. Congratulations to the Rising Stars. It's no coincidence that almost all of them work for quality firms and were trained by Super Lawyers. These are our future Super Lwyers.

As a Super Lawyer, I'm glad that some of the young lawyers at my firm were able to get this Rising Star designation.

    Cogratulations to all.

  2. Oops, I can't spell. I'm a Super Lawyer, but not a Super Speller. I meant "Lawyers", not "Lwyers".

  3. Hey 1:37

Why don't you go suck yourself off in the bathroom while you're at it.

  4. No one? No one is going to comment on Richard Cunningham? That name rocks.

  5. This is my favorite part of WWL. EVERYONE is HERE. I get mocked all the time for being serious. Then some tool, probably one of my partners, is on here congratulating his own training ability, which is followed by someone telling him to go suck himself off. You can't get this in the office. The partner masks his arrogance, if possible, and the associate shrinks in the corner. HERE, everyone says whatever they want. A think of beauty. Though I think you could have beat @1:35 over the head with a little more reality. I doubt he is that BIG.

  6. Sorry, but the whole Super Lawyers thing is slightly absurd in my humble opinion. Yes, many (but certainly not all) of the lawyers listed in the original one (not "rising stars") were some of the best in town, but frankly, if you have practiced for any number of years in this town then you know who the real go to people are anyways. There were also some real clowns/idiots listed too (must have good PR departments).

This up and coming stars, however, is total b.s. There is no discernable way to distinguish associates in my humble opinion--they are all just cogs in the machine... After all, if they are so great then they would be partners or have their own shop!?

  7. Where are all those ATMS rising stars?

    Oh yeah, there aren't any.

  8. What a joke! How many times did the "rising stars" have to vote for themselves? The whole process is complete bs.

  9. re 8:41
If you would take the time to look at the magazine or the web site of Super Lawyers, you would see that both Karie Wilson and Seethal Tejura of ATM&S are listed as rising stars.

Also listed as Super Lawyers are Bruce Alverson, Eric Taylor, David MOrtensen and LeAnn Sander. In fact, Sanders is listed as one of the top 40 women lawyers in the Mountain States listing.

I am not sure what your problem is with ATM&S, but clearly research is not one of your strong points

  10. 8:41 am Sounds like you need to take a deep breath and get a life. Clearly you have let ATM&S get into your head.
